Furthermore, it is necessary to adjust the existing electrode formulas to the coating components available.
To avoid any delay in production start-up, ITCOR LLC is able to deliver ready powder mixtures for the coatings of electrodes.
This proceeding is very useful during the first steps of manufacture because it assures a perfect and regular quality of the finished product which facilitates the introduction of the new brand on the market.
After adjustment of the formulas to local raw materials, delivery of ready powder mixtures is no longer necessary.

Development of special coatings for electrodes
Mansa Omnitech has a very long experience in this field and is equipped to develop any type of electrodes in its pilot plant in Switzerland.
According to the customer's demand, small series of electrodes with specific composition and mechanical characteristics can be produced.
Special attention is every time paid to a good weldability of the developed electrodes.
Upon request, welders are trained in our premises to learn the correct application of the developed electrodes.

Know-how transfer for development and manufacture
Through the transfer of technology and development know-how from Mansa Omnitech, the customer is able, without having prior experience, to produce high quality welding consumables. The transfer may consist of:
- Complete description of the manufacturing procedure for high quality coated welding electrode in general;
- Detailed description of the manufacturing procedure for the types of electrodes chosen by the customer;
- Description of formula(s) for electrode coatings, with:
- enumeration of the coating components;
- indication of the physical and chemical properties of the coating components;
- chemical and mechanical characteristics of the core wire;
- physical and chemical properties of the waterglass;
- name and address of companies where the mentioned raw materials can be purchased from;
- Work to optimize formulas to local raw materials.
- Instruction to the personnel on how to control raw materials, semi-finished products and finished electrodes during production.
- Instruction for examination of the weld metal deposits.
- Assistance by an expert of Mansa Soudage during start-up period

Mansa Omnitech transfers also technology and development know-how for coated brazing rods, flux cored and solid welding wires.

Quality Assurance System
In today's industrial production, the notion "high quality" is not only a key word, but also a must.
For being successful on the market, manufacturers have to care about high and continuous quality of their finished products.
Mansa Omnitech therefore developed a Quality Assurance System for the manufacture of welding consumables based on ISO Norm 9001 "Quality systems – Model for quality assurance in design development, production, installation and servicing".
Our Quality Assurance System is applied with success by several European manufacturers who elaborated their specific Quality Assurance Manual together with Mansa Omnitech.

Installation on Sites
Mansa Omnitech is ready to install plants for the manufacture of any kind of welding consumables, from the simplest to the most sophisticated one.
Commissioning can be realized in existing buildings or on "turnkey plant" basis. All civil enginneering drawings can be realized in our draft office.
