Megalith C-3 PT
Admixture «Megalith C-3 PT» is one of the plasticizers of the “Megalith” series (ТU 5730-003-43184789-2005) having water-reducing and hardness-control properties (accelerator) developed by the leading experts of ITCOR LLC.
Advantages:
«Megalith C-3 PT» provides the following:
- Plastification of concrete mix without admixtures;
- Better strength of a day-old concrete:
a) Better normal concrete hardening - by 50% and more;
b) Better hardening after thermal treatment - by 30% and more; with reduction of a 28-day old concrete (mortar) strength, by not more than by 5%.
- Better workability and higher mouldability and higher strength of concrete mixes with their service life unaffected (at water/cement ratio constant)
- Improvement of physicochemical properties and structural characteristics such as freeze-thaw durability and waterproof (with water consumption reduction and constant workability);
- Lower cement consumption without deterioration of concrete mix workability, physicochemical and structural properties of concrete (at lower water consumption);
- Plastification of concrete mix without any additional chemical additive agents;
- It is caustic or harmful substance free, chloride ions content is not more than 0.1%;
- It may be used with other water-soluble additives.
Proportions:
Recommended proportion for «Megalith C-3 PT» is from 0.4% to 1.0% of cement weight (calculated as dry substance).
Application and condition:
Plasticized workable concrete mixes are recommended for making high-density reinforcement concrete components, thin-walled structures and structures of irregular shape. Water –reduced (concrete mixes having lower water-cement ratio) mixes are recommended to build monolithic structures, ferroconcrete structures and concrete components with stringent requirements as to their strength, water and frost resistance as well as resistance to corrosion..
Storage:
Guarantee service life of «Megalith C-3 PT», provided storing conditions are observed, is as follows: 1 year as dry substance, 6 months after manufacture – as liquid. When stored, «Megalith C-3 PT» does not discharge any harmful substance. In case if «Megalith C-3 PT», as 35% water solution, gets accidentally frozen, it doesn’t lose its properties; it has to be warmed up to 10 – 15°C and thoroughly mixed up before use.. |
